***Street Racing - New Policy***

FloridaCarClub.com does not condone, support or approve of street racing.

Any posts planning, organizing or arranging any sort of illegal activity on public roads will be immediately deleted. Ownership and management of the club refuse to expose the organization to any such liability or related risk. Use of this forum and implementation of the rules by moderators and other managers will be entirely discretionary, and will not warrant a warning unless deemed appropriate by said personality.

Furthermore, members posting the threads are subject to banning without warning. This post serves as fair warning to all, and pleas and excuses will fall on deaf ears. Again, moderators will be allowed to use their own discretion handling this.

Posting kill stories is fine.

Arranging to meet up and race is not fine.

Email each other if you must...but not on a public forum, where ANYONE can read it. That should be a good enough of a hint

A. Actually yeah something happened. Naples and Collier county law enforcement lurk on the forums and it came out last week with the mess that happened on NR

well it happened because one of the guys that hung out with all of them was a cop and had "participated" in illegal street racing. in the investigation authorities reportedly found NR as a site and used his posts against him and they soonafter fired him after a long investigation. complete bullshit in every way, but they did it nonetheless and now look at other forums as well.

DAMN IT! So they went and ruined it for everyone. Well, we have the password protected area so...why don't we make more parts of the forum only viewable by certain members. That way we won't have to worry about this kinda crap.

Nothing is ever 100% safe...post them at your own risk. All I have to say is that as part of the FCC staff, I am behind Zach completely and we do not support street racing of any kind.
