HID's in orlando

I have aftermarket projectors on my malibu and I want to get HID 8k bulbs. but Ive heard cops can be picky about the blue tint to them. The projectors arent DOT certified for HID's, but my current lights just arent bright enough, and I really like the look of the 8k's. Im just curious if anyone has any thoughts on whether or not i should get them?

You should be fine as long as you have projector lenses. It's when people run them in reflector housings that the cops get on you and it's more because they are so blinding they stand out like a sore thumb.
