MY2010 Nissan GTR...whole new list of things you CAN'T do...

Well the owners of the 09 gtr's have faced several grey areas concerning warranty limitations...so in 2010 Nissan will provide you with a very specific list of things you CANNOT do with your GTR. Amongst the large list of things you cannot do include bringing your car to a track, road course, or airstrip; or putting it on a dyno except for emissions testing and only if required by your area government...

In other words...Nissan has made it extremely clear that you are only allowed to drive your car on the road like you would drive a Civic...but in a bit more style. So you're probably better off saving your money and buying a used Ferrari or Lamborghini for a little bit more than you're about to spend on that GTR.

It really is a shame as it is such an awesome car! Too bad Nissan is too afraid of people actually using the car to it's potential...

1. Buy nissan Silvia S15
2. Import it
3. Buy all adjustable suspension components
4. Build motor to around 500whp
6. Build interior, cage it whatever you want
7. Drive the piss out of it, do whatever the fuck you want, you have a nice car and still spent less on doing all that than you would on your stupid GTR

Fuck you Nissan...

so true. Even the casual person will wanna take their car to a race track once in a while for some spirited driving. if you can't do that, then all you can do is street race. Is that a no no in the warranty? If not, i wonder if you could bring it in if something breaks and say, well it broke street racing, not on a track, so it should be covered right???

^^ Haha good answer but Im sure Nissan will make up some BS so that it still Voids your warranty.

My statement is basically Nissan is killing the Aftermarket modification market.

Could you still buy Nismo upgrades? Or would that Void your warranty as well?
Cause if you can still buy Nismo then Nissan basically set themselves up to make bank.

IMO

You can do Nismo but it has to be Nismo SPECIFICALLY for the GTR. So no Nismo Shift Knob...lol
