I like how those manifolds turn into pure fire. Does it say what type of motor is it?

I guessed by the intro headline of the video title that it's a Wankel type Rotary (4 Rotor at that) but after clicking the Youtube link it seems to be housed in some sort of E46 BMW M3 using the Rotary as it's powerplant or something like that!?!?! Unless they mean the GT60 is a 4 Rotor? (which I have never heard of personally) but if I had to take a true guess I would say a 4 Rotor Mazda engine...probably because of the Puerto Rican in me that <3's old school RX3's/7's (Gen 1, Turbo II's or 3's)! I always wanted a nice forced induction rotary that bounced and blipped really nice off idle ;)

Edit: It's confirmed to be a Mazda Rotary

Here is a NA Rotary that explains the kind of "sound" I absolutely love about Rotary's (skip to about 45-50 seconds in) ~

^^^ Fucking Re-cock-ulous

You like that sound? That is one of the most annoying car sounds I have ever heard.

You just don't know!....But I guess to each his own as I don't like the sound that 99% of Suby's make personally. I'm more of a 4G63 guy or for a boxer engine the music a Porsche makes!

I watched the video one more time just to make sure. That thing sounds absolutely horrible. There is nothing nice about it. But to each their own indeed. I'm guessing you like subarus with equal length headers?

No, but can it? Of course it can. Just like almost any other motor. If you rebuilt it with stronger components and put a huge turbo on it, of course it will make a shitload of hp. Now can anyone make a fantastic V12 like Ferrari? Fuck no.

It obviously can't be for daily driver but for a purpose built straight line track vehicle. Plus I am thinking they figured out what the issue was and fixed it...people with that kind of knowledge, experience and money wouldn't leave something like that the way it is.

this. If you have the time and money to put 1600 hp into a motor, you have the time and money to fix an issue such as an overheating and flaming manifold.
